What is a Wooden?
It is a natural structural material obtained from the processing of trees. Wood possesses high load-bearing capacity, carrying more weight per kilogram compared to concrete or steel. It is easier to shape and produce at high thicknesses compared to other materials. Wood materials used in rocket construction also play a significant role in rocket design. Factors such as the body shape and surface roughness, which affect the aerodynamic performance of the rocket, are important considerations in the selection of wood materials. The use of wood materials allows rockets to have a lightweight yet sturdy structure. Wood types such as balsa, pine, and cedar are preferred materials in model rocket construction due to their ease of processing and durability.
