What is Flight Angle?
It is the angle the rocket makes with the ground during launch. Too low a flight angle could cause the rocket to crash into the ground. Too high a flight angle can shorten the rocket’s range. The ideal flight angle depends on the rocket’s flight target and weather conditions.
Flight angle is a critical factor in determining a rocket’s flight and significantly affects the rocket’s range, peak, and overall performance. Factors that determine this angle include the power of the rocket’s motor, its weight, and air resistance. When selecting the flight angle, the flight target of the rocket should be taken into account and the minimum flight angle required for a safe flight should be determined. This allows the rocket to travel on the desired route and safely.
